A bonus card records what you spend at a shop and gives part of it back — as points, as stamps, as a level, or as a discount. Most people in Armenia carry several and use almost none of them.
What a bonus card actually does
A bonus card is a record of your relationship with one shop. The shop identifies you at the till, adds what you just spent to your history, and gives something back against it. What comes back is the only part that really differs between cards.
- Points — a share of every purchase returns as points you can spend later.
- Stamps — a stamp per visit or per item, and the tenth one is free.
- Levels — spend more over time and move up a tier that earns faster.
- Discounts — a percentage or a fixed amount off, immediately at the till.
- Coupons — a specific offer you claim with points and redeem once.
Why the plastic ones stop working
A card only works if it is in your hand at the moment you pay. A wallet holds a few; a household collects dozens. They stay at home, they wear out, the phone number on the account is old, and the balance quietly expires.
The shop loses more than the shopper does. A bonus card is meant to bring a regular back, and a card left in a drawer brings nobody back.
One card instead of many
One Bonus is a single member card that every shop on the network recognises. You do not carry a card per shop, and you do not install an app per shop. Your balance with each business stays with that business — the card and the app are what is shared.
You keep your history whichever shop you are standing in, and nothing depends on remembering to bring the right piece of plastic.

Common questions
What is the difference between a bonus card and a discount card?
A discount card takes money off the bill you are paying now. A bonus card gives you something back to spend on a later purchase. One buys the visit in front of you, the other buys the next one.
Do bonus points expire?
On most programs they do, and the expiry is set by the business that issued them. On One Bonus each business sets its own rule and the balance and its expiry are visible in the app, so nothing disappears without warning.
What happens to my bonus card if I lose my phone?
Nothing. The balance belongs to your account on the platform, not to the phone. Sign in on a new device and every balance, stamp and level is where you left it.
